Those wanting a bigger challenge should try the Fight Team, which trains Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00. Fight Team practices include intense physical training, specialized jiu jitsu, boxing, and wrestling work, and full contact drills. Because of the nature of the practice, participants must bring a mouthguard.
Although sessions are intense, they are designed to improve the fighting ability of participants. As such, care is taken to match students with others of similar abilities and body size. For our purposes, we use the following weight classes:
- Lightweight, 145 lbs. to 155 lbs.
- Welterweight, 155 lbs. to 170 lbs.
- Middleweight, 170 lbs. to 185 lbs.
- Light Heavyweight, 185 lbs. to 205 lbs.
- Heavyweight, 205 lbs. to 265 lbs.
